Rehome a Labrador

I do like some dogs, but other dogs just don’t measure up to my standards. I have boundless energy, but it comes in a really cute package . It’s fun and challenging for me to be active, but I’m equally enthusiastic about brain games. A consistent mix of both would be super cool—I don’t make the best decisions when I’m bored. My enthusiasm for life, love and learning is beyond comprehension! I’m always open to making new friends and eager to learn something new.

This Brandy is a 6 year old vintage but not full bodied. She's a slim girl who is friendly and welcoming. She greeted our assessor with a wagging tail and lots of kisses! Although she did jump up, it wasn't boisterous and once she said hello she settled without trouble.

And while I adore people, older children would be best because I’m so playful. Just like humans, we can experience health issues as we get older. I have some arthritis in my hips, an enlarged heart (don’t worry—it’s not causing any issues) and some extra protein in my urine. Frida has some limping of her rear limbs, a heart murmur and kidney issues. Regular vet checkups are a must to monitor our conditions.

Once the pet rehoming project for your pet has begun, we are not able to provide refunds. This is because of the great deal of expense and work that is done by our team for each pet that we rehome. Debbie from Pet Rehoming Network helped us through a very trying period of our lives. We make sure your pet is doing well in it’s new home after the adoption is finalized. This ensures your pet’s future welfare, whereabouts and well-being – and your peace of mind. We provide a comprehensive adoption agreement, and we follow up with the new owners once your pet is placed in their care.

Not everyone wants a shelter dog that has endless energy. Some people want a pet that matches their personality. I’m not exactly a social butterfly either, so if you fancy a night lounging on the couch instead of chit-chatting at the dog park, holy moly are we a match! Oh, and you’ll never fret about bath time. Goodness, I could show you how to bathe a dog because I’ve taken so many! My favorite thing to do is cuddle next to my favorite human.

As far as human siblings go, anyone over 15 years old is A-OK by me. Oh, and a securely fenced yard is essential to keep me safe. I had surgery to correct my limp and decrease the pain in my back hip. I’m totally fine, but after walking or playing, I might have a little limp.

Breed: Mountain cur and labrador retriever mix

Both dogs are used to being outside while the family is at work during the day. Whatever the reason the rescue team does its best to find a new home for these Labradors and this is a very worrying job because the second home must be the last home. Please note that this scheme is for pure bred Labradors only as that is the focus of the club. We are not able to extend this scheme to include labrador crosses. I’ll be happiest with my own space and maybe even my own bed while I get settled into my new home and get to know my new family. That way, I can retreat to my space if I feel nervous, or choose to explore when I feel brave.

But unless you want me scaling your fence, you’re going to want to make sure it’s at least 6 feet high. That’ll give me room to run and jump without going over the fence. There are some really cool videos online of dogs like me climbing very tall fences, so I will need supervision! Living with little kids or cats wouldn’t be a good idea because of my rambunctious energy, but I might be up for a doggy sibling. It’s OK if you stopped scrolling because I have gorgeous eyes. I also have a zest for life, and my heart is overflowing with love.

About Lupini

She is underweight and doesn’t have much of an appetite. We are trying to put some weight on her with micro meals and an appetite stimulant. Smokey would like a home with a family that has a yard and that will give her the love and attention she so deserves. The cuteness factor is off the charts for Chewy! This adorable chocolate love landed with a family that wasn’t prepared for a puppy.

Breed: American pit bull terrier mix

It’s quite possible I was used as a bait dog in dog fighting, so understandably, I was shy and scared at first. That’s just one of those pit bull “facts” that are totally wrong. These days, I’m not afraid of other dogs and am excited to make more four-legged friends. Your generous support goes directly to providing care for our rescued Labradors. Most rescues and shelters will not accept senior pets, and you may have been told that they are “unadoptable” by these organizations. We have proven this to be false, and will be happy to help you find a very good home for your older pet.

This gorgeous girl Millie needs a new home. Millie was in a home where the parents were out at work all day, and she quickly became too much for them to cope with. When shut outside, she would dig under the fence and get on to the adjacent road.

This is a one-time fee, and covers our costs in creating and promoting your pet’s rehoming story throughout a wide variety of media. It also covers our costs for staff, phone services, Internet services and paid advertising services on Social Media and search engines. We provide you with an electronic adoption agreement drawn up specifically for you and your pet, and with careful follow-up for many months after your pet is adopted.

Is a Home Inspection Done On My Pet's’ New Home?

If the pet’s owner is in agreement, we are happy to place their pet in a senior’s home. Often a home with a senior is the perfect setting for pets that need lots of human companionship, or a quiet home with a strong routine. This is particularly true when the pet owners are seniors themselves.
